Pěší zóna je částí velkorysého bulváru, který spojil centrální středověké náměstí s nádražím. Tato spojnice prolomila v roce 1864 jižní frontu náměstí i barokní opevnění a vytyčila směr dalšího vývoje města.

Na této soutěži tančili dva taneční páry z Chebu. Jan Tiekala s Barborou Foltýnovou a Vladimír Hána junior s Magdalénou Hanušovou. Druzí jmenovaní ve standardních tancích stáli na stupních vítězů. Takže tento taneční pár přivezl pro chebský ATK Standard 3.místo.
